Ted Bumgardner

President

Mr. Bumgardner is a recognized industry leader providing program and project management services for complex major projects. He is adept at working with dynamic ownership groups to identify and articulate project objectives to develop a cohesive project program to meet the financial and operating goals of any project. Bumgardner is the president and founder of Xpera Group, and president of Xpera CM.

Tim Ireland

Senior Project Manager

Mr. Ireland brings decades of experience providing program and project management services. His unique background in both general contracting and as a construction attorney gives him the insight to find solutions and work as an effective project manager in large complex projects such as high rise condominiums, school modernizations, multi-family complexes and commercial office improvements.

Steven Grimes

Steven Grimes

Director of Marketing & Business Development

Mr. Grimes has over 30 years in experience in the construction industry and has held positions such as sales manager and vice president. Mr. Grimes has been an industry leader serving on the Board of Directors for the Associated General Contractors and the San Diego chapter of the Building Industry Association for six years since 2003. He currently leads business development for Xpera Group and Xpera CM.

Alan Nevin

Economics & Market Research

Mr. Nevin has an extensive background in real estate economics, lending and market analysis. He serves the development, investment, legal and public agency communities with residential and commercial real estate valuation, feasibility and real estate advisory services and litigation support.

James Weber

Senior Project Manager, Cost Estimator

James has over 23 years of experience in the construction industry, specifically in the Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing fields. He has experience as a journeyman electrician, chief electrical estimator, and as an electrical consultant for all construction project types. He is able to prepare electrical estimates for low and high voltage systems for the residential and commercial industries, as well as for low voltage systems. Additionally, he has experience with forensic review, value estimating, expert testimony and estimating oversight.

Ron Whitehead

Director of Corporate Services, General Counsel

Ron Whitehead received his B.S. Degree in Economics from the University of Utah in 1988 and began working as a claims adjuster for Farmers Insurance handling personal injury, property, commercial liability, and workers’ compensation claims in California and Colorado. He received his Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law and was admitted to the State Bar of California in 1999 and thereafter the U.S. District Court, Southern Central District. As an attorney, he has been primarily involved in construction defect litigation and also practiced in areas of mechanic lien, personal injury, insurance coverage, and real estate law. He has taken over 500 depositions and has been in over 100 trials and arbitration. He has served as an arbitrator for Arbitration Forums since 1998.
